Is Roger coming back? Before we get too excited lets remember that he's 43 and has had a history in the past few years with nagging injuries. You offer him a one year with a club option for the second. And please don't over pay for his services. Nothing over the 8-10 million range, he has plenty of money and it shouldn't be an option. He hasn't won a world series for the sox and it would be a fantastic story to see him do it. He can tutor Beckett and Papelbon on becoming better pitchers. Al Nipper, his close friend, has been hired as the bullpen coach and the Sox are going after Brad Ausmus, Clemens catcher the past two years, to back up Varitek. Yes it would be nice to get him. Clemens, Beckett, Schilling, Papelbon, Wakefield....if Schilling returns to his former self this would be friggin lights out for the American league. Get Tejada, improve the clubhouse presence. I also heard that Tejada and Ortiz (both 29) grew up together and are best friends. DO IT JOHN HENRY, MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
