NFL Coach of the Year

Why not Bill Belichick? He's lost a lot and I mean a lot of starters. He came into the season losing both of his coordinators. The Patriots have played one of the hardest schedules in the NFL. He has his team at 8-5 and sitting pretty in winning the AFC East. If the Colts don't go undefeated and the Pats end up 11-5 can you think of anyone else that would deserve it as much? Bill is a NFL coaching genius and coaches should emmulate how he game plans in the way the young QB's watch Brady play the game. I'm proud and honored to have the Patriots represent New England. Now let's bring on the Colts in the playoffs!!

Don't do it Nomar......

Nomar talking to the Yanks? Do any of you think he's doing this just to spite the Red Sox? I do. He can play SS with a lot of other teams and now he wants to play the outfield for the Yanks!! Give me a break. Nomar: you were and are still one of the most beloved athletes in Boston, you were the guy who we all could count on to get the big hit when the Sox needed it the most. If you go to the Yanks, you'll rip our freaking hearts out. Don't do it.

Cry me a River

Edgar Renteria said he's glad that he left the Red Sox because he didn't enjoy fielding at Fenway Park. What a cry baby. This is what kills me about athletes, they have an excuse for everything. Suck it up Edgar, you sucked last year and I'm glad we traded you because we supposedly have an Albert Pujols clone waiting in the wings. It's about time we get one of "those" players from some team instead of trading them away. Good luck in Atlanta next year Edgar and I hope you get 35 errors.

Will the Co-Gm's work out?

What if Theo comes back during spring training? Are these two part time GM's? Like Mike Port a few years back? Larry is a moron and needs to be stripped of his duties. He obviously annoys the hell out of people. Why can't the frail John Henry acknowledge that and move him into a different role. Let him keep the President title and let Theo "oops" the other two GM's run the show. How I would love to be a fly on the wall to actually hear what has been going on behind closed "Red Sox" doors the past few months. Things are looking up though, we have been bettering the club this offseason and that's a plus.

Clemens coming back to the Red Sox?

Is Roger coming back? Before we get too excited lets remember that he's 43 and has had a history in the past few years with nagging injuries. You offer him a one year with a club option for the second. And please don't over pay for his services. Nothing over the 8-10 million range, he has plenty of money and it shouldn't be an option. He hasn't won a world series for the sox and it would be a fantastic story to see him do it. He can tutor Beckett and Papelbon on becoming better pitchers. Al Nipper, his close friend, has been hired as the bullpen coach and the Sox are going after Brad Ausmus, Clemens catcher the past two years, to back up Varitek. Yes it would be nice to get him. Clemens, Beckett, Schilling, Papelbon, Wakefield....if Schilling returns to his former self this would be friggin lights out for the American league. Get Tejada, improve the clubhouse presence. I also heard that Tejada and Ortiz (both 29) grew up together and are best friends. DO IT JOHN HENRY, MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

Are the Patriots Back?

They looked REAL good today against Buffalo. Brady was his typical self and the defense is starting to come alive. I wish we could have clinched the division today to give these guys some rest during the last three weeks of the season. They should clinch next week. I don't care about Tampa, they suck. I just really want the Colts to lose or better yet, win and go 16-0 and get ousted by the Pats in the second round. Ultimately, I'd rather play for the 3 seed but that's going to be hard. Hopefully Peyton will break his legs in the next few weeks, he can't and the Colts can't stay injury free for this long. I loved the effort today and hopefully we can build on this. Pats Rule!!

Get a haircut JP

Is this the NFL or the next audition for American Idol. JP, visit your nearest Sports Clips, please!!! Your ass is about to become extremely dirty this Sunday. You guessed it people, I think he's a punk and a frigging BUM. His press conferences are like he has the brain power of 5 year old. JP, look below you, the Bruschi Train is coming. Stay tuned.

Mark Loretta traded to the Red Sox

I think this is a great deal because we only gave up Mirrabelli. Mark is an upgrade and if he stays healthy and regains some of his 2004 form, it's a steal. He'll be great in the 7 or 8 hole. Look forward to Boomer's trade and a possible Trot Nixon trade. Let's face it with Trot, he's a gamer but has no lived up to all the hype. Maybe a change in scenery will do better for him.

Don't do it Johnny

I will personally shit my pants if Johnny Damon signs on with the Yanks. It makes sense doesn't it? They need to move Jeter back to the 2 hole and need a center fielder. Watch, we'll pick up Bernie Williams!!!! If this happens, I will never respect Johnny Damon again. He knows how much he means to the Team and city, I hope he wouldn't burn us by going to the evil empire.

Wanted, MNF Sideline Reporter

Who's your pick?

Grady Little Hired by the Dodgers

Gosh golly gee, It's a good thing we won the World Series Grady or there would have been a bounty out on you. Just Kidding. Little is a good manager and should do well with the Dodgers. Grady Little

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, Who's better

Statistically, Manning and that's where it stops. I hear all over the radio about if Peyton had what Tom Brady has...did Tom Brady ever have Marvin Harrison or Edgerren James? No, he had Antwain Smith and Troy Brown. Brady has a better defense and defense wins Championships. The defense didn't show up for two of the three SB victories. While I'm a huge Peyton hater, I do respect his ability but he has to win a big game or he's going to be known as Marino. There is nobody, I mean nobody that I would rather have running the offense with 1:30 left is a pressure situation than Tom Brady. A measurement of a QB to me is how many Super Bowls he has won and how they do head to head vs the best QB's in the league. Peyton just doesn't have it yet. If they win it all this year, he still won't be Tom Brady and quite frankly, never will.

Manny Ramirez

I've seen this petition going around online begging Manny to stay in Boston. I'm starting one to get this crying, backstabbing, no-good asshole the hell out of Boston. He makes 20 million a year and cry's over privacy, well move to Berlin, Mass. He's one of the most gifted hitters that I've ever seen but his character is clearly one of the worst I've seen. Give me 20 million and I'll play in Antartica. I don't give a shit and Manny should honor his contract. So the fans annoy you, get over it. I want players to like Boston and not try to leave annualy. You should have stayed in Cleveland but you came here for the money. Show Boston and it's fans a little respect and act like you're enjoying it hear. I can find millions of people who would die to afford your place at the Ritz. Get out!!!!

SubPar

Memo to Patriots: Must Get better!!! They played a pop warner team today in the Jets. The offense sucked and the defense played well, but it was against the Lowell Titans. But a win is a win. Buffalo is going to be tough next week. They are going into a hostile situation and may lose if they play like they did today. I was extremely disappointed that the Patriots couldn't get into the end zone more than they did today. Can we please have one game that they would click? Can the offense and defense play well on the same day? They had better shape up or it's one and out in the Playoffs. Pats Win

Holy Perkins!!!!

Kendrick Perkins made a statement last night and quite frankly, it's about time. Now maybe physco Blount will be on his way out. I like the Celtics team a lot but like many Boston fans, I'm not a patient person. But this team is headed toward the right direction. Kendrick's Big Night

Red Sox trade for Cubs minor leaguer

These are the juicy little nugget trades that you forget that happened but come up in a big way a few years down the line. This guy sounds decent. Trade

Red Sox Sue over World Series Ball

Call me crazy but I know it was a very long time since they won the World Series but it's just a damned ball. What do you plan on doing with it, hey little Joey, this is the ball that the Red Sox made the final out on in the World Series, uhm Thanks Dad, but why should I care about that? Absolutely freaking pathetic, worry about hiring a GM and acquiring more pitching. Big Balls
